an audible and/or visual indication such as when drifting
weed collects on the line, which can result in your lead/
rig being towed great distances from its original position.
If the line movement is slower than the sensitivity rate
set the alarm will sound with an alternating high/low
tone repeated 3 times after 3 metres of line movement.
This failsafe alarm feature is then reset. It is also reset
following any other registration of line movement.
DROP BACK DIFFERENTIATION:
To alert the user to a slack line indication Drop Backs are
signalled by three descending low tones that differ to the
tone set for forward line movement.
LOW BATTERY WARNING:
The R4 Head emits five consecutive 1 second
bleeps when switched on to warn you battery
power is low. Replace battery immediately to retain full
functionality.
R4 RECEIVER
CHARGING THE BATTERY:
The R4 Receiver has in internal rechargeable battery,
which is charged using the supplied USB-C charging
cable. The handset should be fully charged before
first use. Typical charge time from a low battery is
approximately 4 hours.
During charging the battery status LED is yellow and
turns green when fully charged.
NOTE: Battery life is influenced by multiple factors but a
guide time between charge and recharge for the Receiver
is 20 weeks.
TO TURN R4 RECEIVER ON/OFF:
Press & hold the Power button
turning on all the LEDs will light green in an ascending
pattern and the Receiver will sound a series of fast beeps
rising in tone. When turning the Receiver off the LEDs
will light red in a descending pattern and the Receiver
will sound a series of fast beeps decreasing in tone.
