Lighting
Turn on the appliance's circuit breaker to

connect it to the electrical mains.
Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 1) to the

temperature required to turn on the heating
elements.
The mains light (E) comes on.
Turn the knob (A) gradually anti-clockwise to
3)
regulate the power of the heating elements
down to the minimum setting (pos. 2).
Turning off
Turn the knob (A) nti-clockwis (pos. 3) to turn
1)
off the heating elements.
Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to
2)
disconnect it from the electrical mains.
To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
Raise the lid (A).

Turn the water spout ( (B) towards the pan.
2)
Turn on the water taps (C) to fi ll the pan to a
3)
level between the two marks (D).
Important
For faster boiling times, use hot water only;
use cold water only when specifi cally required.
Turn the water spout outward and then close
4)
the lid (A) and tighten the clamps (E).
Caution - Warning
Never use the appliance with no water in the
well, as this may damage its structure.
5 - To drain the pan turn on the tap (F).
Caution - Warning
Before draining the pan or opening the lid
(A), press the button (G) to discharge the
remaining steam (For version 1*1PI2EA only).
