6.4 Maintenance schedule
This schedule is an average. Depending on the intensity of use of your equipment, Holmatro can
provide a specific maintenance schedule for you.

6.5 Maintenance activities
6.5.1 General
• Check the operation of the unit.
• Check the unit for damage and leaks. If the unit doesn't work properly and/or leaks, have it repaired
by a Holmatro certified technician.
6.5.2 Hydraulic couplers (Auto-lock)
• Check the couplers for damage. Have a Holmatro Certified Technician replace damaged couplers.
• Clean the couplers with luke warm water and a mild soap solution. Dry the couplers.
• Lubricate the end of the coupler with hydraulic oil, or by injecting WD-40.
• Lubricate the locking ring by injecting WD-40 via the back under the locking ring.
• Connect the couplers. The couplers must lock automatically.
• Check the locking by pulling the hydraulic couplers straight back. The couplers must not disconnect.
• Disconnect the couplers and then connect them again a few times. This improves the internal
lubrication of the locking system.
