Steam dispensing
Plunge the steam jet pipe (6) into the liquid to be heated in a suitable
container and turn the steam adjustment knob (7).
When the liquid is hot, stop the flow of steam by pressing again the push
button (7).
Heating milk for frothy coffee (cappuccino)
Use a tall narrow jug and fill it up to about the half-way mark. Then plunge
the steam jet pipe (6) into the milk.
Gradually open up the steam tap (7) and heat the milk for a few seconds.
When the required amount of froth has been made and the temperature
is sufficiently high, stop the flow of steam by turning knob (7) the other
way (towards “0”).
When the steam jet pipe (6) is no longer required, clean it thoroughly
with a sponge and a clean cloth.
Dispensing hot water
Position a container under the hot water dispensing pipe (8) and press
the hot water dispensing push button (9). Dispensing starts and then
stops automatically.
Dosed dispensing can be interrupted at any time by pressing again the
push button (9).
Note: At the conclusion of each steam dispensing phase,
clean the inside of the steam nozzle as follows:
Turn the nozzle towards the cup tray and carefully
activate steam dispensing at least once.
The machine is fitted with a series of automatic level control devices to
keep the water in the boiler at a pre-set level.
The indicator light (11) comes on when water enters the boiler.
To enter the programming mode, press push button (20) and keep it
pressed for a few seconds; the buzzer sounds intermittently.

Fit and tighten the filter holder (10) on the coffee dispenser unit, positioning
the cup (or cups) under the nozzle (or nozzles) of the filter holder (10).

Position a suitable container for the amount to be programmed under the
hot water pipe (8).
Press (and keep momentarily pressed) the hot water dispensing push
button (9).
When the amount of water in the container reaches the required level,
release the push button (9).

Turn the nozzle towards the cup tray and carefully
activate steam dispensing at least once.
Filling the boiler with water using the manual service tap (only for
M28 SELECTRON)
This function should be used only if the electronic level control devices
are not working correctly.
Pull out the filling lever (5) and press it down, taking care not to exceed
the MAX. level on the boiler water level indicator (13).
To exit the programming mode, after programming the various drinks,
press push button (20) again.
Press (and keep momentarily pressed) the coffee dispensing push button
(16, 17, 18 or 19) corresponding to the required serving to be programmed.
When the amount of coffee in the cup reaches the required level, release
the coffee dispensing push button.
Repeat the above operations for the other coffee push buttons.
M28 SELECTRON
Position a suitable container for the amount to be programmed under the
hot water pipe (8).
Press (and keep momentarily pressed) the hot water dispensing push
button (9a or 9b).
When the amount of water in the container reaches the required level,
release the push button (9a or 9b).
