This vacuum cleaner creates a strong air fl ow which is drawn
in through the inlet (12) and blows out through the outlets
(14).
Before turning the vacuum cleaner on, fi t the suction hose into
the inlet and then fi t the required tool on to the end part. Refer
to the manufacturer's accessory catalogue or Service Centre.
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with an internal baffl e
plate which subjects the vacuumed substances to a circular
centrifugal movement that makes them drop into the
container. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a fi lter which
enables it to be used for the majority of applications.
Engine safety plate
WARNING!
The engine safety plate (1) warns of potential dangers
caused by the engine, which may result in serious
injuries to the operator. Read it carefully.
If the label comes off or becomes unreadable, contact the
manufacturer for its substitution.
In particular, this plate displays the following warning
messages:

Gasoline is extremely fl ammable and explosive. Before
fi lling with fuel, switch off the engine and let it cool down.
■
The engine releases carbon monoxide, a toxic and
poisonous gas. Don't switch on the engine in an enclosed
place.
■
Read the operation manual before switching the engine
on.

Noise warning plate
This plate (6) indicates the vacuum cleaner noise level.
As the noise level is 100 dB, the operator must wear
ear defenders and/or appropriate devices to avoid
hearing damages caused by a prolonged exposure to
the noise produced by the vacuum cleaner.
Filter shaking attention plate
This plate (9) draws the operator's attention to the fact that
the fi lter must only be shaken when the vacuum cleaner is off.
Shaking with the vacuum cleaner on would have no
effect while the fi lter itself could be damaged.
Identifi cation plate
The plate (10) displays the main data of the vacuum cleaner:
model code, serial number, technical specifi cations, EC
marking and year of manufacture.
Optional kits
The following optional kits are available for converting the
vacuum cleaner:

Absolute fi lter "H" kit (code 5 60381)
On request, the vacuum cleaner can be supplied with optional
kits already installed. However, they can also be installed at a
later date.
Please contact the manufacturer's sales network for further
details.
Instructions describing how to fi t the optional kits and the
relative operation and maintenance manuals are supplied
together with the optional kits.
Use only genuine optional kits supplied and
authorized by the manufacturer.
