Transmission shaft bearing greasing

Front and side covers

Grease cups

Stop the vacuum cleaner.
Remove the covers (1) using the relative fi xing screws.
Grease the transmission shaft (2) bearings (3) using the
special grease cups (4).
Fit the covers (1) back in place using the relative fi xing
screws.
Use lithium based grease with an NLGI3 consistency.

Belt tensioning and replacement

WARNING!
When replacing the belts, only use genuine spare
parts or spare parts with the same characteristics as
the old ones.

Stop the engine.
Remove the covers (1) using the relative fi xing screws.
Remove the cover (2) unscrewing the fi xing screws (3)
on both sides;
Loosen the engine mounting plate (4) fi xing nuts (5);
Change the engine mounting plate position with the
tensioning screw (6) in order to tension the transmission
belt correctly (7); fi nally tighten the fi xing screws and fi t
all the covers back in place.
WARNING!
After about 1 hour of operation, check belt tensioning
again.

Engine - transmission shaft belt replacement
Stop the engine.
Remove the covers (1) using the relative fi xing screws.
Remove the cover (2) unscrewing the fi xing screws (3)
on both sides;
Loosen the engine mounting plate (4) fi xing nuts (5);
Loosen the belt (7) using the tensioning screw (6), then
remove the belt and replace it with one with the same
characteristics;
Tension the belt, then tighten the fi xing screws and fi t all
the covers back in place.

Stop the engine.
Remove the covers (1) using the relative fi xing screws.
Loosen the turbine fi xing nuts (2);
Move the turbine (3) in order to tension the belt (4) again
and tighten the fi xing nuts (2);
Fit the covers (1) back in place using the relative fi xing
screws.
Transmission shaft - turbine belt replacement
Stop the engine.
Remove the covers (1) using the relative fi xing screws.
Loosen the turbine fi xing nuts (2);
Move the turbine (3) in order to loosen the belt (4), then
remove the belt and replace it with one with the same
characteristics;
Move the turbine (3) in order to tension the belt (4) again
and tighten the fi xing nuts (2);
Fit the covers (1) back in place using the relative fi xing
screws.
