1 Wash hands thoroughly with warm soapy
water.
2 Turn off the meter and place it on a flat
surface, such as a table.
3 Wipe the entire meter surface with the
approved cleaning and disinfecting
product. Always use the same product for
both cleaning and disinfecting.
4 Carefully wipe around the test strip slot
and other openings. Make sure that no
liquid enters any opening.
