Cleaning the test strip guide and test strip guide cover

Squeeze off excess cleaning solution or blot
on a dry paper towel to remove any excess
cleaning solution before cleaning the surface
of the meter.
1 With the meter powered off, remove the
test strip guide cover to clean it. (Use
your thumbnail to open the cover of the
test strip guide by pressing its front edge
upward.) Move the cover safely away from
the meter. Then wipe it clean using Super
Sani-Cloth Germicidal Disposable Wipes.
Let the test strip guide cover dry for at
least 10 minutes before re-attaching it.
