3.6. Troubleshooting
Problem
! CAUTION Do not try to clean rear discharge area when mower is
running. Bodily harm may occur!
Belt slipping
Patches of uncut to
land
Excessive vibration
Blades scalping grass
Uneven cut
Solution
Unplug and clean mower deck.
Remove belt guard shields and clean
sheaves.
Replace belt
Shift transmission to a lower gear.
Tighten belts.
Replace missing blades.
Replace blades.
Replace drive belt.
Replace pulleys or align.
Remove belt guard shields & clean debris
from belt area & sheaves.
Raise cutting height by adjusting.
Change broken pattern.
Reduce speed turns.
Shift to a lower gear.
Level mower.
Replace missing blades or hammers
