2.2 USBy Functionalities & Services
This section provides you with the information you need to:
 Retrieve USBy ID
 Change the email address or the device name (alias)
 Check USBy's connection status
 Check the ambient temperature
 Update the Software
 Device reset (only for USBY v6 version)
 Additional services (for a fee)
2.2.1 Retrieve USBy ID
If USBy has not yet been registered, the USBy ID is shown in the screen at the top right during
the installation phase.
If USBy has already been registered, the USBy identification can be retrieved by accessing your
user page on the site www.controllocasa.it
2.2.2 Change the email address or the device name (alias)
The procedure to follow to change the email address where to receive the lack / restore
notifications or the device name (alias) is as follows:
1. Open your Web Browser and enter the following URL: www.controllocasa.it
2. In the Main Menu, select the "Login"
3. After entering your credentials (User & Password) you will see the following graphic
interface
At this point, you can change the name (Alias) of your device and the email address where
to receive the alerts.
If you modify the configuration, please remember to "Save" the new configuration
After saving the new configuration, remember to use the new email address to
