SAFETY INFORMATIONS
Only use the tool at temperatures above + 20°C! The sockets must be handwarm, if necessary
warm them up before use!
Check the rim lock for damage after dismantling, even if it looks intact, there is a risk that the
metal structure is damaged. We therefore recommend replacing the rim locks in any case.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. Packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
USE
Place the appropriate sleeve on the rim lock head, the optimal area is
approx. 8 mm deep (A= optimal area). The first 3 mm (dimension B)
from the cone is the centering area. The socket must not be used in
this area, there is a risk of breakage! The sockets are conical inside,
so they are also suitable for all intermediate sizes.
Using a heavy hammer (A), tap the socket (1-8) straight onto the
rim lock head, use the
Remove the rim lock with a wheel cross, working with even
force.

Place the socket on a bench vise (C) and drive the rim lock (D) out of the
socket (1-8) using the ejection mandrel (10).
