•
A well maintained battery can perform well even after
many miles of riding. Charge the battery after each ride
to avoid draining the battery completely. When used at
room temperature (22°C [70°F]) the battery range and
performance is best.
•
Warning: Do not attempt to disassemble the battery. Risk
of fire. No user serviceable parts.
•
Warning: Do not ride when the ambient temperature is
outside of the operation temperature (see specifications),
because low/high temperature will limit the maximum
power/torque. Doing so could cause personal injury or
property damage due to slips or falls.
Saddle adjustment
•
The proper height of the saddle is to straddle on the
saddle with the toes of both feet just touching the ground.
•
The minimum saddle height is 89 cm for the A-Frame and
82.6 cm for the V-Frame. You can measure by using a tape
measure and measuring from the ground to the top of the
saddle when in it's lowest position.
Damage or contamination of reflectors
•
Check whether the reflectors are dirty or damaged. If they
are, then clean or replace them.
The fixed state of the axle
•
Please confirm that the front and rear axles of the wheels
are not shaking or loose.
Inflation, wear, and damage of tires
•
Please confirm whether the tire inflation is appropriate.
Improper inflation can cause punctures and loosening of
various parts of the BirdBike. In addition, please determine
whether there is a high amount of wear or any foregin
objects or nails in either of the tires. If so, do not ride before
fixing the issue or repairing the tire(s).
Adjustment of pedals and other moving parts
•
The pedals should rotate smoothly. If either is loose, please
tighten it.
Charge and discharge port
•
Please make sure that the charging and discharging ports
are not damaged.
•
Also make sure that no foreign objects have entered into
the ports, that the ports are not deformed, and that the
port covers are not damaged.
