To start the engine, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the pressure knob counterclockwise (LOW) all the way to the end so it is totally open (LOW).

2. Turn the shutoff valve to the CLOSED position
3. To start the engine cold, move the choke lever to the CLOSED position. To start it warm, leave the choke lever on the OPEN
position.
4. Push the priming pump several times until it is full of fuel. Even if the priming pump is pushed too many times, the extra fuel will
return to the fuel tank. If the priming pump is not pushed enough times, the engine may not crank because of air in the system.
