DRIVING THE HOVERBOARD
WARNING:
Mistakes in using a hoverboard can cause serious injury!
PRACTICING
• Practice stepping on and off, driving and stopping slowly and
with enough time until you can master the device safely.
• Let other people support you in practising.
USE
• Protective equipment: Always use appropriate protective equipment against
falls; especially a safety helmet.
• Stepping on: Place the second foot as quickly as possible after the first foot.
Otherwise, the hoverboard will start spinning.
• Driving and stopping:
- Observe all safety instructions and traffic rules.
Use common sense.
- Always drive at a reasonable speed:
The device has no brakes.
- Never turn quickly or take fast corners!
- Don't lean too far forward, backward, or sideways.
- Do not drive over sloping or uneven surfaces.
• Stepping off:
- Only step off when in standstill.
- Step off backwards only:
Otherwise the device moves forward: risk of falling.
WARNING: Risk of serious injury due to inadequate control!
The basic settings (drive force, steering sensitivity, maximum speed, etc.) or general modes (e.g.
beginner, normal, professional) that can be reached via the app must always correspond to the
training level of the current user. They must never overwhelm the user.
Adjust the preselected maximum and real driving speed to the user's ability, the route and the
ambient conditions. A speed of 12 km/h should only be exceeded by very experienced users in
suitable conditions.Beginners should ride at max. 6 km/h, advanced riders at max. 8 km/h.
