CLEANING, STORAGE, MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
•
Switch off the device. Before each cleaning, unplug the charger (8, 9) from the
socket and let all parts cool down completely.
•
Never use solvents, abrasives, hard brushes, metal or sharp objects for cleaning.
Solvents are
•
harmful to health and attack the plastic parts. Abrasive cleaners and aids scratch
the surface.
•
Clean the charger (8, 9) and the device with a slightly damp cloth. Dry all parts
with a dry cloth.
WARNING:
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Never hold it
under running water. There is a risk of electric shock!
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store the device in a dry, clean place inaccessible to children and
animals, preferably in its original packaging.
•
Make sure it is switched off and has cooled down completely. It is recommended
to always use the original packaging or a carrying bag for transport.
•
Make sure that the device cannot fall down or fall over during transport. Protect
the device from knocks and vibrations, especially when transporting it in vehicles.
WARNING:
The device has a permanently installed Li-Ion battery. Li-ion batteries
are considered dangerous goods for transport and may only be transported if
permitted by local laws or the regulations of the transport company
MAINTENANCE
•
Check for perfect condition after and before each use: All screw connections must
be tight. The device must be free from damage. Look for signs of fatigue (cracks,
scratches, discolouration, deformation) especially in heavily used areas. The
steering adjustment must be correct.
•
The battery is a wear part. At the end of its service life, it must be replaced by
qualified personnel.
•
In case of damage, problems or uncertainties, contact the customer service. Never
carry out repairs yourself.
