Extra Load
-
Hold down the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. Once the door is unlocked, you can add
more laundry in the washing machine.
-
For safety reasons, the Extra Load function cannot be used if there is excess water in the
drum or if water temperature is high.
Other functions
Emergency door unlocking
-
If you want to remove the laundry in case of long-term power failure, make sure that the
water level in the drum is below the door bottom level, the temperature is below 40°C (or
low enough to exclude the risk of burns), and the drum does not rotate. Then, disconnect
the drain hose and reconnect it. Wait until there's no more water in the drum.
-
Once the water has completely drained out of the washing machine, open the drain-outlet
cover at the front bottom-right corner, pull the rod slightly downwards, and, as soon as
you hear a slight sound, open the door and take out the laundry.
-
Refit the drain-outlet cover.
-
This method can only be used in an emergency.
Resume function
This device has a Resume function in case of switch-off. If there is a loose plug or a power
failure occurs during the washing process, the appliance is able to remember the previously
selected settings and resume operation once power is restored (it must be switched on again
by pressing the power button).
Memory function
The appliance can automatically remember the last settings used. When you switch the
washing machine back on, it will remember the last washing programme and settings selected
(this means that all settings of the last wash will be selected by default when you switch the
appliance back on).
Laundry weight detection
At the beginning of the wash, the washing machine will estimate the laundry weight and
automatically dispense detergent (provided there is enough in the drawer) and adjust the
water amount accordingly to save as much as possible.
Unbalance control system
-
It may take some time for the washing machine to balance the weight distribution of
laundry in case of unbalance.
-
If the laundry is still unevenly distributed in the drum, spin speed can be decreased to avoid
strong vibrations.

-
If there isn't enough laundry in the drum, the washing machine may not spin due to the
unbalance control system. Add more laundry for the machine to start spinning.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance on the washing machine can extend its working life.
Warning
Unplug the appliance and close the tap before maintenance.
Cleaning the drum
Clean the drum if you see rust on the inside. Never use steel wool pads for this purpose.
Cleaning the surface
1. Use a dry cloth or a cloth lightly dampened with a neutral, non-abrasive detergent to
remove dirt from the surface. Make sure that the surface of the washing machine remains
dry at all times. Do not scratch the washing machine with sharp objects.
2. The surface can be cleaned with diluted non-abrasive, neutral detergents if necessary.
Cleaning the drain outlet
1. Open the drain-outlet cover as shown in Figure 14. You can open it with the help of a
non-sharp, non-cutting object.
2. Unscrew the plug and remove any foreign material or objects from the drain outlet. Be
careful with possible water that may come out during the process. Fig. 15
3. Refit the plug and close the cover. Fig. 16
Cleaning the water inlet valve filter
The inlet filter must be cleaned if no or insufficient water enters when the tap is opened.
1. Lower the water pressure:
a. Close the tap.
b. Select any programme except Spin Only.
Press the Start/Pause button and keep the programme running for about 40 seconds.
c.
d. Disconnect the plug.
2. Disconnect the inlet hose from the tap. Fig. 17
3. Gently pull out the filter using a pair of needle-nosed pliers. Use extreme caution not to
force the filter to avoid damaging it. Fig. 18
4. Wash the filter with water and remove any accumulated dirt.
5. Place the filter back in its original position.
6. Reconnect the inlet hose. Fig. 19
