3.2. INTENDED USE
 Pedestrian-operated pallet truck for lifting, lowering and transporting loads.
 Transport loads only when they are properly secured. Be aware of the centre of gravity.

 When moving the pallet truck, all movements should be slow and without jerking.

3.3. REASONABLY FORESEEABLE MISUSE
 Not for transporting people.
 Do not lift vehicles.
 Do not push or pull against loads, use only the tiller for movement.
 Make no direct contact with foodstuffs.
 Do not pick up long items crosswise.
 Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
 Do not make any unauthorised changes or modifications.
 Do not operate outdoors or in rooms with high atmospheric humidity.
 Not for use in areas where high concentrations of dust, flammable gases, vapours or solvents
are present.
 Not for use in areas where the floor slopes upwards or downwards.
 Do not use a motor vehicle for pulling or pushing.
 Not for use in areas where the floor is loose or unpaved.
 Do not exceed the maximum rated load capacity.
3.4. PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
Assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting by Specialists for mechanical work
Specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with assembly work,
mechanical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of the products and
who possess the following qualifications: Qualification / training in the field of mechanics as spe-
cified in the nationally applicable regulations.

3.5. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

3.6. DUTIES OF THE OPERATING COMPANY
The operating company must ensure that personnel who work on the product comply with the
