5.1. STORAGE
For long-term storage, remove any load and fully lower the load forks. Grease all components as
described in Maintenance [} Page 21]. Do not store close to corrosive or aggressive chemical
en
substances, solvents, heat, moisture or dirt.
6. Installation
6.1. TILLER ON THE HYDRAULIC PUMP
A
ü The spring is secured with a spring restraint.
1. Position the tiller in the pump unit and insert the pin from right to left through the pump unit
and tiller.
▶ Hole in the pin facing upwards.
2. Use restraint pins to secure the pin at both ends.
3. Depress the foot pedal and fully lower the load forks.
4. Feed the chain with the adjustment nut through the hole in the pin.
▶ The chain must not pass in front of the pin or behind it.
5. Push the tiller down and remove the spring retainer.
6. Set the control lever to "RAISE".
7. Hang the chain up in the lever.
▶ The adjustment nut is located under the lever.
▶ The tiller is assembled.
6.2. ADJUSTING THE LIFTING MECHANISM

The control lever should perform the following functions:
Position of the control lever
LOWER
NEUTRAL
RAISE
In the event of malfunctions, perform the following settings:
 Control lever in position "NEUTRAL", but the load forks move upwards: Turn the adjustment
screw on the adjustment pin clockwise until the load forks hold their position.
 Control lever in position "NEUTRAL", but the load forks move downwards. Turn the adjustment
screw on the adjustment pin anti-clockwise until the load forks hold their position.
 Control lever in position "LOWER", but the load forks hold their position: Turn the adjustment
screw on the adjustment pin clockwise until the load forks move downwards. Check the "NEUT-
RAL" position.
 Control lever in position "RAISE", but the load forks hold their position: Turn the adjustment
screw on the adjustment pin anti-clockwise until the load forks move upwards. Check the
"NEUTRAL" and "LOWER" position.
Function
Pull the control lever up. The load forks move downwards.
Release the control lever. The load forks hold their position.
Push the control lever down. The load forks move upwards.
