9. Maintenance

For working on the pallet truck, remove any load and fully lower the load forks.

Maintenance work
 Check for external damage such as cracks, deformation or similar
defects.
 Check the hydraulic pump and oil reservoir for leaks. If leaks are
found, repair the damage immediately and use proper techniques
to remove and dispose of the oil that has escaped.
 Check the rollers for damage and for free running.
 Check the oil level.
 Check the lifting mechanism by raising and lowering the load
forks.
 Check all bolted connections for secure seating
 Grease all mechanical components.
