7. Operation
7.1. AMBIENT CONDITIONS
 Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C.
 Ambient lighting: At least 50 Lux.
 Dry environment.
7.2. TRANSPORTING A LOAD
WARNING
Pallet truck on rollers
Crush hazard for feet and body.
▶ Watch out for changes in the structure of the ground during transport.
▶ Be aware of the extended braking distance.
▶ When moving the pallet truck, always have both hands on the tiller.
▶ Do not let go of the tiller as long as the pallet truck is in motion.
▶ Not for use in areas where the floor slopes upwards or downwards.
▶ Always stop on level ground and provide security against rolling away.
▶ Keep your feet away from the working area.
▶ Do not reach into the rollers.
▶ Make sure the paths for movement and transport are clear.
▶ No persons must be present in the direction of travel.
▶ Wear safety shoes.
WARNING
Falling load
Crush hazard for the body and individual limbs due to loads picked up incorrectly and not secured.
▶ Operate only on flat and solid ground.
▶ Distribute the load that is picked up equally on the two forks.
▶ Be aware of the centre of gravity of the load.
▶ Secure the load against falling.
▶ Comply with the maximum load capacity.
▶ Do not pick up any load that is unstable or not secured.
CAUTION
The load forks sink downwards
Crush hazard for hands and feet.
▶ Do not reach under the load forks or position yourself there.
▶ Do not position any objects under the load forks.
▶ Wear safety shoes.
