Casting the anchor:

The anchor can be casted by using the electrical controls or manually. To
operate manually the clutch must be disengaged allowing the gypsy to
spin free and letting the rope or chain fall into the water.
To slow the chain, the handle must be turned clockwise. To cast the anchor
by using the electrical power, simply press the DOWN button on the
control provided. In this manner, anchor casting is under control and the
rope and chain will uniformly descend.
In order to avoid any stress on the windlass – once the boat is anchored –
fasten the chain with a chain locker ( 91404 ) or secure it in place with a
rope
Hauling the anchor.
Turn on the engine. Make sure the clutch is engaged and remove the
handle. Press the UP button on the control provided. If the windlass slows
down ( during heavy lifting ) wait a little bit and then press the UP button
again. Check the upward movement of the chain for the last few meters in
order to avoid damage to the bow.
Closing the clutch:
The clutch provides a link between the gypsy and the main shaft. The
clutch is released ( disengaged ) by using the clutch handle which, when
inserted in the drum or gypsy cover, must be turned counter clockwise.
The clutch will be re-engaged by turning it clockwise.

Larguer l`ancre :
L`ancre peut être descendue électriquement ou manuellement. Pour opérer
manuellement désengager le loquet. Pour ralentir tourner la manivelle dans
le sens des aiguilles d´une montre. Pour l`utilisation électrique appuyez sur
le bouton Down. Une fois le mouillage descendu assurer le moillage avec
de préférence le Stop Chaîne ou avec bout tourné au taquet.
Remontée du moillage.
Mettez le moteur en route. Assurer vous que le loquet est en place retirez
la manivelle. Appuyer sur le bouton UP. Si la vitesse de remontée baisse
attendre un peu et recommencer.
Manuel / Electrique.
On débraye le barbotin en engageant la manivelle dans son logement en
partie supérieure et en tournant dans le sens invers des aiguilles d`une
montre. On embraye à nouveau en tournant en sens inverse.

Der Anker kann per Hand oder durch den Gebrauch der elektrischen
Anlage ausgeworfen werden. Wenn der Anker per Hand ausgeworfen
werden soll, muß die Kupplung am Spillkopf gelöst sein und dadurch kann
dann die Kette/Seil frei aus dem Kettenkasten ablaufen.
Um die Kette kontrolliert ablaufen zu lassen, muß der Handgriff nach
rechts gedreht werden. Wenn der Anker elektrisch geworfen werden soll,
drücken Sie einfach auf die Taste, unten" auf der Kontrollkonsole. In dieser
Weise ist das Ankerwerfen unter Kontrolle und der Anker und die Kette
werden gleichmässig abgelassen. Um nach dem Ankerwerfen eine weitere
Belastung der Ankerwinde zu vermeiden ist es zu empfehlen den Anker mit
einer Kettensicherung oder einem Seil zu befestigen.
Heben des Ankers.
Schalten Sie den Motor ein und vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kupplung
eingerastet ist. Entfernen Sie den Handgriff. Drücken Sie die Taste „oben"
auf der Kontrollkonsole. Falls während des Anhebens des Ankers es zu
einer zu starken Belastung der Ankerwinde kommt, ist es ratsam einen
Moment zu warten und dann nochmals den Hebevorgang zu wiederholen.
Kontrollieren Sie den Hebevorgang bei den letzten Metern der Ankerkette
um somit Beschädigungen am Bug zu vermeiden.
Schließend der Kupplung:
Die Kupplung ist die Verbindung zwischen dem Spillkopf und der
Antriebswelle. Die Kupplung wird gelöst durch die Benutzung des
Kupplungshandgriffes. Wenn dieser in der Trommel oder im Spillkopf
integriert werden soll, muss er nach links gedreht werden. Das Öffnen
der Kupplung erfolgt durch die Drehung des Handgriffes nach rechts.

El ancla puede ser arrojado (echado) usando control manual o electrico.
Para operar manualmente el embrague (clutch) debe de estar desunido
para que deje el barboten dar vueltas libremente y poder dejar la soga o
cadena caer dentro el agua (mar o lago) libremente. Para que la cadena
vaya mas despacio, la llave de cambios debe de ir en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj (clockwise). Para arrojar (echar anclas) el ancla usando
el poder electrico simplemente presione hacia abajo el boton DOWN en
el control provehido por Ancholift windlass. De esta manera echando el
ancla (arrojando el ancla) estara bajo control y la soga y cadena
desenderan al agua uniformemente. Para evitar tension en el motor
windlass, tan pronto el bote este anclado amarre la cadena con una
cerradura (locker 91404) o asegurelo en su sitio con una soga.
Estiron del Ancla.
Prenda el motor. Este seguro que el embrague(clutch) este unido y
remueva el mango (llave en la parte de arriba del windlass). En el control
provehido, apriete hacia abajo el boton que dice UP. Si el motor windlass
trabaja lentamente (durante el levantamiento pesado) espere un poco y
luego vuelva a appretar el boton UP, hacia abajo. Favor de chequear el
movimiento de la cadena en algunos de los ultimos metros en orden de
evitar danos a la proa (bow area).
Serrando el embrague.
El embrague (clutch) provee un enlace (union) entre el gypsy y eje(main
shaft) principal.El embrague es desunido cuando usted use el clutch
handle (la llave), la cual se inserta enel cilindro (drum) o la cubierta del
gypsy. Debiera usted mover la llave en contra del sentido(counter-
clockwise) de las agujas del reloj para desunirlo.

DO NOT OPERATE THE WINDLASS BY USING THE ELECTRICAL POWER
WHEN THE LEVER IS INSERTED IN THE DRUM OR IN THE COVER OF THE
GYPSY.
