2-WIRE SYSTEM WITH TOUCH PUSH-BUTTONS
DESCRIPTION
System which makes it possible to perform small-medium size installations in:
• Buildings with one or several points of entry.
- Buildings of up to 96 dwellings (monitors/telephones).
- Up to 6 access or entry points.
• Compounds containing several inner buildings.
- Compounds of up to 16 inner buildings (with entrance panel with pushbuttons).
- Up to 6 entry points or external access points (gatehouses) to the compound.
- Up to 6 access or entry points per building.
- Maximum number of houses in the compound: 96.
• Up to 6 devices (monitors/telephones) per dwelling.
• 2-wire connection, without connection polarity, both between panels and to the devices
(monitors/telephones) in the dwellings.
• All the monitors/telephones of each building are programmed from the main entrance panel
of the building.
• Confidentiality feature.
• Automatic switch-on feature with main panel (from telephone) or looped (from monitor).
• Electronic call. Call tone in dwelling varies depending on where the call is coming from
(entrance panel of the building: main panel, secondary; external entry point to the compound).
STAINLESS STEEL MAINTENANCE
The stainless steel used in ALOI entrance panels is grade 316L, also called marine grade. This
type of steel resists corrosion, but it is still necessary to follow these cleaning and maintenance
rules in order to avoid deterioration of the appearance.
• Clean the surface of the ALOI entrance panel periodically.
• Use a specific non-abrasive product to clean stainless steel. When in doubt, use a soft
cloth moistened with lukewarm water. Never use chlorinated cleaning products or bleach.
• Do not apply cleaning products directly on the surface of ALOI entrance panel, Use a
clean cloth instead.
• After cleaning, wthoroughly dry the surface of ALOI entrance panel with another clean
and dry cloth.
Alcad will not be held responsible (loss of warranty) in the event that proper cleaning or
maintenance is not carried out.
OPERATION
There are two operating states: system on standby and system active.
1.- SYSTEM ON STANDBY
By default, the telephones/monitors are inactive, so that the functions of communicating with
the entrance panel and opening the door are disabled (on telephones/monitors with a handset,
picking up the receiver you will hear a continuous tone). The entrance panels are on standby,
with the audio system disabled while waiting for a call to be made or for a telephones/
monitors to activate the automatic switch-on system.
