1. Declaration of Conformity
We declare and accept sole responsibility for
ensuring: this cordless garden pruners, identified by
their type and serial number *1), conform to all
relevant provisions of the directives *2) and
standards *3), Test report *4), Issuing body *5),
Technical Documents for * 6).
2000/14/EC: Conformity assessment procedures in
accordance with Annex V.

For UK only:
We as manufacturer and authorized person to
compile the technical file, see *6) on page 3,
hereby declare under sole responsibility that these
cordless garden pruners, identified by type and
serial number *1) on page 3, fulfill all relevant
provisions of following UK Regulations S.I. 2016/
1091, S.I. 2008/1597, S.I. 2001/1701, S.I: 2012/
3032 and Designated Standards *3), see page 3.

2. Specified Conditions of Use
The cordless garden pruner is intended for sawing
through branches (max. diameter: 8-10 cm (5/16" -
3/8"), diagonally to the fibre.
It must be used only for machining wood. Do not use
it to fell trees. Do not cut roots, do not work close to
the ground. Do not machine any hazardous
materials.
Use only the recommended cutting sets (guide rail
and sawing chain). The use of other tools can lead
to serious injuries.
Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks
which may ignite the dust or fumes.
National regulations may restrict the use of the
device.
The user bears sole responsibility for any damage
caused by inappropriate use.
Generally accepted accident prevention
regulations and the enclosed safety information
must be observed.
3. General Safety Information
For your own protection and for the
protection of your power tool, pay
attention to all parts of the text that are

Residual risks: Even when the device is used as
intended, there could be residual risks. Observe all
safety warnings and instructions.
Possible hazards:
- Prolonged exposure to vibrations can lead to
injuries and neurovascular disorders (also called
"Raynaud syndrome" or "white finger disease"),
especially in people with circulatory disturbances.
The symptoms can affect hands, wrists and
fingers and manifest themselves in loss of
sensitivity, dullness, itchiness, pain and
discolouration or structural changes to the skin.
These effects can also be intensified by low
ambient temperatures and/or gripping the handles
too tightly. If these symptoms occur, the usage
duration of the machine must be shortened and
medical assistance help must be sought.
4. Special Safety Instructions
4.1 Safety instructions for garden pruners
a) Wear eye protection and ear protection.
Further protective equipment for head, hands,
legs and feet is recommended. Adequate
protective equipment will reduce personal injury
from flying debris or accidental contact with the saw
chain.
b) Keep all parts of the body away from the saw
chain when the pruning saw is operating.
Before you start the pruning saw, make sure
the saw chain is not contacting anything. A
moment of inattention while operating pruning saws
may cause entanglement of your clothing or body
with the saw chain.
c) Always hold the pruning saw with your right
hand on the rear handle and your left hand on
the front handle. Holding the pruning saw with a
reversed hand configuration increases the risk of
personal injury and should never be done.
d) Hold the pruning saw by insulated gripping
surfaces only, because the saw chain may
contact hidden wiring. Saw chains contacting a
"live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the
pruning saw "live" and could give the operator an
electric shock.
e) Do not operate a pruning saw in a tree, on a
ladder, from a rooftop, or any unstable support.
Operation of a pruning saw in this manner could
result in serious personal injury.
f) Always keep proper footing and operate the
pruning saw only when standing on fixed,
secure and level surface. Slippery or unstable
