The operating instructions must be read in full before commencing operation.

The operating instructions must be kept in the vehicle and must be accessible to the

driver at all times.
The seat must only be installed, maintained and repaired by expert personnel.

All country-specific requirements and installation instructions of the vehicle manufacturer
must be taken into account.
The country-specific installation guidelines must be complied with by GRAMMER AG and
its representatives or by the vehicle manufacturer.
Wear parts like rollers, shock absorbers and fastenings must be checked at regular

intervals.
The seat must always be in working order and adapted to the respective operating

conditions for your health and safety. Keep your seat functional by maintaining it
appropriately and regularly inspecting it to ensure functionality.
The function inspections must be carried out at least as often as specified by the
maintenance intervals for the vehicle (see maintenance schedule for the vehicle).
The operating instructions must be stored together with the seat. If the seat is passed on

to a third party, the operating instructions must be passed on with it.
Subject to changes initiated in the interest of technical advancement and any resulting

deviations from the seat series.
Safety Instructions
Incorrectly adjusted seats have a smaller range of travel.

To prevent personal injury, the height of the seat must be adjusted to the individual height
of the driver before commencing operation of the vehicle and when changing drivers.
To prevent injury, no objects may be stored within the range of travel of the seat.

Before commencing operation of the seat, any packaging materials must be removed

from the seat and backrest cushions.
To reduce the risk of an accident, the MFA carrier unit must be checked to ensure that all

the adjusting devices are completely engaged before commencing operation.
The adjusting devices for the seat cannot be actuated during operation.

Only touch the lever of the fore/aft adjustment mechanism in the intended location at

the front.
– RISK OF CRUSHING –
When the backrest cushion is removed, the backrest angle adjustment may only be

actuated if the backrest is supported, e.g. by hand. Non-compliance may result in
increased risk of injury due to the backrest jerking forward.
