When work is fi nished, proceed as follows:
•
Turn off the water tap using the lever 7 (fi g.2).
•
For the "battery machine", lift the brush by lowering the pedal 1.
•
For the "230V.AC cable machine" tilt back the machine (point 2)
to lift the brush support.
•
Raise the squeegee by the lever 8 (fi g.2).
•
Turn off the brush motor by the push-button 5 (fi g.2).
•
Turn off the vacuum motor by the push-button 4 (fi g.2).
•
Take the machine to the water discharge point.
•
Turn the starter key-switch 3 (fi g.2) to "0".(battery machine)
•
Disconnect the 230V.AC power cable from the power socket
(cable machine)
•
Slide back the drain hose 3 from its clamp, unscrew the cap 4
and drain the recovery tank.
!
Caution!
For protection against hazardous solutions, gloves must be
worn when carrying out this procedure.
•
Wash the brushes thoroughly with a water jet.
•
Wash the squeegee thoroughly with a water jet.
Operations to be performed when work is fi nished
Cleaning the recovery tank and fi lter. Proceed as follows:
•
Drain the recovery tank completely as described previously.
•
Extract the hose collar 5 from the seat in the fi lter cover 6.
•
Remove cover 6 with its fi lter 7.
•
Remove the drain hose 3 from its clamp and unscrew the cap 4.
•
Clean the inside of the tank with a water jet.
•
Remove hose 8 from its plastic retainer 9 located inside the
tank, clean the hose and reassemble it.
•
Rinse the body 7 of the fi lter thoroughly with a water jet.
•
Reassemble all parts following the procedures described in re-
verse order.

Danger!
For the cleaning or maintenance of the cable machines discon-
nect the power plug from the connector.
!
Danger! Frost Hazard
With temperatures of 0°C or below, check and eventually fully
remove water from tanks and hoses at the end of each job or if
the machine is unused for a certain period of time.
Cleaning the squeegee
For good drying results, the squeegee must always be clean.
Proceed as follows:
•
Raise the squeegee by the lever 8 (fi g.2).
•
Remove the squeegee by reversing the instructions in the "
PREPARING THE MACHINE" - "Fitting and adjusting the squee-
gee" section.
•
Clean the inside of the squeegee thoroughly with a jet of water.
•
Clean the rubber strips of the squeegee thoroughly with a jet
of water.
•
Check the rubber strips for wear, and turn or replace them if
necessary (see - "MAINTENANCE" - "Replacing the squeegee
rubber strips").
•
Reassemble the squeegee by following the instructions provi-
ded in the " PREPARING THE MACHINE" - "Fitting and adjusting
the squeegee" section.
Cleaning the brushes
For thorough cleaning, the brushes must be removed and washed with
a jet of water.
To remove the brushes, proceed as described on " BRUSHES" - "Disas-
sembling/assembling the brushes" section.
