The secondary filter is accessed by pulling on the rear cover once the main filter is open.
The purpose of this high performance secondary filter is to protect the heat exchangers from any
elements that have not been trapped by the main filter before they reach the heat exchangers.
This filter cannot be cleaned. It should be replaced with a new filter.
The sec ondary filter should be replaced every 200 hours of service. See chapter 10 Maintenance.

DO NOT SWITCH ON THE MACHINE WITHOUT PLACING THE SECONDARY FILTER.
THE PERFORMANCE AND DURABILITY OF THE DRYER LARGELY DEPENDS ON THE
GOOD MAINTENANCE (CLEANING) OF THESE ELEMENTS.
