4. OPERATION
4.1.
Operation principle and description:
The machine dries the fibres by passing hot dry air through the textile fibres. This air drags the
humidity from the clothing.
This hot damp air reaches the coolant evaporator where it is condensed by cooling it. The
condensed water leaves through a drainage pipe at the lower rear part of the machine.
The cold dry air passes through the coolant condenser, where it is heated, if the control
determines that extra heating is required, it also activates the electrical resistors. The cycle is
repeated until the clothing is dried to the required degree.
Steps for correct drying:
Choose the same type of fibre. Do not mix different types of fibres in a drying cycle.
Load the dryer.
Open the power supplies to the machine.
Choose the drying programme using the microprocessor where there are all the
parameters for an optimum drying.
Push the START cycle button.
Remove the load at the end of the cycle.
The door should not be opened and the machine should not be stopped in mid-cycle in
order to improve the efficiency of the system.
!!! WARNING. REMOVING THE LOAD WITHOUT CARRYING OUT THE COOL-DOWN
(PROGRESSIVE COOLING) MAY CAUSE BURNS AND DAMAGE THE APPLIANCE!!!
Note: For self-service machines, see point 9.
