7. SINGLE-BUTTON
For choosing single playback or Continuous play. The indication "SINGLE" means that the CD-player is in
Single-mode. The current track is then played once and the player goes into Pause-mode at the beginning of
the next track. By pressing the Single-button, the CD-player changes into normal playback mode and the
display shows "CONTINUE".
Press and hold the Single-button for activating the Outro-function. The display shows "Remain Outro". In this
mode, the last 30 seconds of every track are played. Cancel the Outro-function by pressing the Time-button.
8. SEARCH-BUTTON
To activate the Search-function. The Search-function is automatically switched off 5 seconds after the last
movement with the Scratch-wheel.
9. SCRATCH-WHEEL
Playback-mode:
Via the Scratch-wheel, you can temporarily adjust the playback-speed by ±16 %.
Pause-mode:
In the pause-mode, the current frame is repeated as soon as you turn the Scratch-wheel.
Via the Scratch-wheel, you can slowly search within a title forwards and backwards. In this way, you can
easily find a Cue-point for example.Turn the Scratch-wheel to the right in order to search forwards and turn it
to the right in order to search backwards. The faster you turn the Scratch-wheel the higher the searching-
speed. Please refer to 6.7 Cueing.
Search-mode
When pressing the Search-button, the player enters into Search-mode. Via the Scratch-wheel, you can scan
forwards and backwards. Turn the Scratch-wheel to the right in order to scan forwards and turn it to the right
in order to scan backwards. The further you turn the Scratch-wheel the higher the scanning-speed. In the
pause-mode, the current frame is repeated as soon as you turn the Scratch-wheel.
Scratch-mode (Scratch effect LED is lit):
By turning the Scratch-wheel forwards and backwards, different scratching-effects can be produced.
10. DISPLAY
LCD-display for displaying the different modes and functions. Please refer to the explanations under 6.3
LCD-display.
11. SAMPLER-BUTTONS
With these buttons, you can memorize the current sample and the sample-parameter via one of the three
Sampler-buttons. Press the Memo-button (Memo-button lit) and the desired Sampler-button (Sampler-button
flashes). Please note that the maximum sample-length is 13 seconds.
Please refer to the explanations under 6.7 Cueing and 6.9 Sampler-mode.
You can memorize up to 3 samples with sample-parameters of different titels and recall them via the
respective Sampler-button.
The memorized samples of a CD remain in the memory until you switch off the CD-player or overwrite the
samples.

12. CUE MEMORY-BUTTONS
Via one of the three Cue Memory-buttons, you can memorize the current Cue-point.
You can recall the memorized Cue-point by pressing the respective Cue Memory-button.
13. KEYBOARD/EFFECT-BUTTONS
If you press the desired number, the player automatically starts the respective track-number.
If the FX/NUM-button is pressed, you can select the different effects. Please refer to the explanations under
6.12 Effects.
14. FX/NUM-BUTTON
For switching the keyboard to effect selection.
15. SD CARD-BUTTON
Press the SD CARD-button when operating the SD-Card slot.
