To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
Switch the appliance off and leave it to cool .

Turn off the circuit-breaker to disconnect it

from the electrical mains.
Clean the plate thoroughly with a sponge

and normal detergent, rinse with plenty of
water and dry.
IMPORTANT:Do not point water jets
onto the plates when still hot as this can
damage them.
From time to time, after cleaning the plates,
)
apply a small amount of linseed oil or a simi-
lar product.
The appliance has been tested before being
put into service. The information provided be-
low is intended to assist in the identifi cation
and correction of any anomalies and malfunc-
tions which might occur during use.
The user can solve some of these problems
himself, but for others specifi c technical knowl-
edge or skill is required, and so they must only
be carried out by qualifi ed staff with recog-
nised experience acquired in the specifi c sector
of operation.
