When a too warm or too cold battery is inserted into
the charger (red LED flashes), the charging procedure
will start as soon as the battery has reached the correct
temperature range (0 ... + 65 °C) again and the max.
charging current can flow.
When the battery is completely charged, the LED indi-
cator switches from red to green and the LED indicator
on the battery goes out.
After charging, the battery does not have to be
removed from the charger immediately. The battery
can remain in the charger. It cannot be overcharged
and is thus always ready for operation.
When both LEDs flash at the same time, either the bat-
tery is not completely slid on the charger or there is an
error with the battery or the charger. For safety rea-
sons, put the charger and the battery out of operation
immediately and have them checked at a Würth serv-
ice agent.
Both 12 V and 18 V battery packs can be inserted into
the charger at the same time, but they will be charged
one after the other. The fi rst battery pack to be inserted
will be the fi rst one to be charged. The red LED for the
second battery pack will fl ash slowly to indicate that
the charging process has not begun yet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
When the charger's power cable is dam-
aged, it must be replaced by a Würth service
agent, in order to avoid hazardous situa-
tions.
If the battery charger should fail, despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should
be carried out by a Würth masterSERVICE.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the article number given on the type
plate of the battery charger.
The current spare parts list for this power tool can be
viewed on the Internet at
