Introduction
To get the most out of your new lawnmower,
please read through this manual and the
enclosed safety instructions before use.
Please also save the instructions in case you
need to refer to them at a later date.
IMPORTANT!
The lawnmower is supplied without engine
oil. Fill with 0.6 litres of engine oil suitable
for garden machinery (e.g. SAE-30) before
starting the lawnmower!

Special safety instructions
Personal safety
Always wear protective glasses, work trousers
and safety shoes when using the lawnmower
to protect your eyes, feet and legs against
loose items that can be thrown up by the
blade.
Always use ear protectors when using the
lawnmower, as noise from the engine can
cause hearing damage.
Keep other people and animals away from
the area whilst using the lawnmower.
NEVER insert � ngers, hands or other body
parts under the skirt once the lawnmower
has been started, or once the spark plug
cap has been placed on the spark plug.
Remember that the blade takes a few
seconds to stop when the engine is cut off .
Never use the lawnmower if the safety
control handle does not work!
Exercise caution and wear heavy duty gloves
when handling the blade.
