GUIDELINES FOR MATCHING HITCH, TRUCK AND TRAILER
CAUTION
A minimum clearance between the bumper and trailer (measured at the same height) of
24 in (609.6 mm) is recommended. Due to vehicle and RV trailer variations it is
necessary to check this clearance. This can be done after installation by making a slow
turn, in a controlled driving environment (such as a closed parking lot or grass field)
with the aid of an assistant to watch for interference.
