The radio broadcasts from a connected tuner are obtained by pres-
sing the button marked "TUNER

Cassette playback

Tuner recordings are not influenced by the volume and tone control
settings.
Cassette copying
With two cassette recorders connected, you can copy a recorded
cassette,

Balance
The balance is (9) is correctly set if the sound appears to be com-
ing from a central point between the two speakers during mono
playback.
Loudness
At low volumes the human ear is less sentitive to high and low
tone-frequencies than it is to medium tone-frequencies. By depres-
sing the "LOUDNESS"
button
the sound impression is automa-
tically adjusted according to the degree of volume.
Tone control
The bass frequencies can be boosted (+) or attenuated (—) with
the "BASS" control (7), the treble frequencies
can be boosted (+)
or attenuated (—) with the "TREBLE" control (8). Bass and treble
frequencies are not affected when the tone control is set to "0".
The optimum setting depends on the acoustic characteristics of
your living room and the positioning for your speakers.
Headphones
Stereo headphones can be connected to the "PHONES" circuit ©
with a jack plug. The loudspeakers are switched off in this case.

A cet amplificateur, vous pouvez brancher un TUNER (= récep-
teur), un tournedisque et un lecteur cassette. Pour doubler ou
enregistrer simultanément des cassettes un deuxième casseto-
phone peut être branché.
Mise en place et raccordement
Refroidissement
Installer l'appareil de façon à qu'il ne soit pas exposé à un chauf-
fage direct.
Les ailettes du radiateur n'étant pas recouverte, veillez lors de la
mise en place, qu'un espace suffisant pour la circulation d'air reste
libre, derrière ou au-dessus du radiateur.
