To have access to the blades, proceed as
described below:
Loosen the handle (1), contact washer (2),
 
spring washer (3) and flat washer (4).
Now pivot the feeding funnel (5) to access
 
the maintenance of the blades.
TRAPP shredders leave factory with temperate
cutting blades prolonging cutting durability.
Sharpen the cutting blades when the edge is dull.
Whenever sharpening, be careful to remove the
same amount of material from each cutting
blade to keep balance and to avoid vibrations
of the axle unit.
The cutting blades shall be substituted whenever
optimum sharpening is no longer possible.
