When you press NIGHTSHOT, [_ appears,
and you can record images ew,n in total
darkness.
Press NIGHTSHOT again to cancel the
NightShot function.
• UsingNightShot in bright places will cause a
malflmction of your camcorder.

How to use the MANUAL dial
Press MANUAL to switch to manual
operation mode, and rotate the dial to
make the adjustment. Pressing MANUAL
switches the operation mode between
manual and automatic.
To assign a menu item
Press and hold MANUAL for atk,w seconds
to display the [DIAL SETTING] screen.
Rotate the MANUAL dial to assign an item.
You can assign [FOCUS], [EXPOSURE],
[IRIS], [SHUTTER SPEED], [AE SHIFT],
or [WB SHIFT].
It is conw, nient to make manual
adjustments using the MANUAL dial, by
assigning a menu item ([FOCUS] in the
default setting) to the MANUAL dial.

Attach the tripod (sold separately) to the
tripod receptacle using a tripod screw (sold
separately, the length of the screw must be
less than 5.5 mm (7/32 in.)).
