OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER INSTRUCTIONS
The treadmill should be grounded. If the unit malfunctions or breaks, grounding
offers a path of less resistance to electric current, which reduces the risk of electrical
shock. The unit is equipped with a suitable power supply socket with an equipment-
grounding wire and a plug with a grounding pin.
Only bipolar plugs with grounding contact will be accepted (2P + T 16A according
to NBR 14136). Any type of adaptation for sockets that do not have a ground pin is
forbidden. The outlets should always be installed in appropriate boxes that do not
allow their poles (of the outlet) to be exposed. All outlets must be connected to the
grounding pin. It is totally unacceptable to use a short circuit (when installation is
possible) short-circuited to the ground.
WARNING!
Inadequate connection of the equipment in the equipment may result in a
risk of electric shock. Consult a quali ed professional or maintenance
personnel if you do not know if the unit is properly grounded.
If you do not t the socket, get a proper socket installed by a quali ed
electrician.
