MAINTENANCE
ADJUSTED RUNNING BELT
The treadmill running belt is pre-adjusted from the factory, but each user tends to
push the running belt to one side during the exercise, either with the right or left
foot. To adjust it correctly, follow the steps below:
ADJUSTING THE RUNNING BELT TENSION:
If the seal is "sliding" or swaying when you put your foot in
it during the run, the tension on the running belt needs to
be increased.
TO INCREASE THE TENSION OF THE RUNNING BELT:
1.Place the 8 mm wrench on the left screw of the running
belt tensioner. Turn the wrench 1/4 turn clockwise to press
the rear roller and increase the tension of the running belt.
2.Repeat STEP 1 for the proper tension of the right
running belt screw. You must be sure to turn both screws
the same number of turns, so that the rear roller is
adjusted in relation to the structure.
3.Repeat STEP 1 and STEP 2 until the slippage is eliminated
4. Be careful not to tension the running belt, which may
create excessive pressure on the front and rear roller
bearings. An excessively running belt would result in
rolling noise from the front and rear rollers.
To decrease the tension on the running belt, turn the two
screws counter clockwise the same number of turns,
centering the elapsed run.
When you run, you can push more with one foot than
with the other. The amount of movement of the running
belt depends on the force that one foot exerts in relation
to the other. This movement can cause the running belt to
move out of the center. This push is normal and the
running belt will be centered when no user is using the
treadmill. If the running belt remains off-center, you will
need to center the running belt manually.
1. Observe that the running belt is facing the right or left
side of the platform.
2. If you are to the left side of the platform, using a key,
turn the left adjustment screw clockwise 1/4 turn and the
right adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/4 turn.
3. If the running belt is not yet in the center, repeat the
step up until that in this center.
4. After the running belt is in the center, increase the
speed to 14 km / h and check if it is working without any
problems. Repeat the steps above if necessary. If the above
procedure is unsuccessful in resolving the off-center, it
may be necessary to increase the tension of the running
belt.
