G
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY DUE TO
HIGH TEMPERATURE OF THE CHARGING
SYSTEM
Use the charging system only in ambient
temperatures from - 40 to 50 °C.
Do not cover the charging system during the
charging process.
Protect the charging system from prolonged
exposure to strong sunlight to avoid overheating
the charging system.
Direct sunlight may cause the charging system's
housing to become hot. In this case only handle the
charging system using the rubber caps or the cable.
G
DANGER – RISK OF FATAL INJURY FROM
ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE
Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to
parts of the charging system or the adapters. Never
open the housing of the charging system.
G
DANGER – RISK OF FATAL INJURY FROM
WATER IN PARTS OF THE CHARGING
SYSTEM
Make sure that the charging system, adapters and
connection points are not heavily exposed to water
(e.g. submersion or jets of water), especially if they
are connected to a power source.
There is a risk of electric shock.
•
Connect the required adapter to the charging
system before you connect the charging
system or the adapter to a power source.
•
Make sure that the parts of the charging
system are not lying in water (e.g. in a puddle).
•
Do not subject the charging system and
adapters to a direct jet of water.
General notes
Observe the following instructions to avoid damage to
the charging system and adapters:
•
During a storm, disconnect the charging system
from the mains supply.
•
Always put the protective caps on the device when
it is not in use.
•
Protect the charging system and adapters from
loads resulting from being driven over, dropped,
pulled, bent or crushed, for example.
•
Always store the charging system in the case and
only in a dry place without exposure to direct
sunlight.
If you use the charging system commercially, observe
the national regulations applicable in your country
concerning the operation, inspection and repair of
electrical equipment.
Cleaning instructions
G
DANGER – RISK OF FATAL INJURY FROM
INCORRECT CLEANING
Only clean the charging system and adapters when
they have been completely disconnected from the
mains supply and vehicle.
Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning purposes and
then wipe all of the parts completely dry.
Instructions on first-time use
In most countries, the use of a charging device is
subject to registration and/or approval. Therefore,
contact your energy supplier before setting up the
device.
Verify with the property manager/owner that safe
operation is possible with the appropriate power
socket.
The user is responsible for adherence to local
regulations regarding the operation of flexible charging
systems.
Please bear in mind that operation of a flexible charging
system may affect residential building insurance.
Therefore prior to setting up the charging system,
contact the insurance company providing the
residential building insurance for the building in which
you wish to operate the charging system.
