Connection options and settings
You can connect the flexible charging system to your
smartphone or computer, e.g. to view information on
charging processes, to adjust settings or to connect the
charging system to the Internet.
Connect the charging system to the mains supply.
Open the Wi-Fi settings on your computer or
smartphone.
The MBW_xxxxx charging system will be displayed
among the available connections.
Causes/measures
No Internet connection configured.
Internet connection being established.
Internet connection is established.
Local connection to Wi-Fi being established.
Internet connection failed.
Causes/measures
Protective earth conductor detected.
Protective earth conductor detection deactivated by the user.
No protective earth conductor detected at the socket:
Do not use the socket.
If a qualified electrician has ensured that the socket has been correctly installed and
is earthed, the device's internal protective earth conductor monitoring can be
deactivated and the vehicle charged at the socket. It is essential that you observe the
notes in the section "Switching off protective earth conductor detection"
(
page 20).
Establish the Wi-Fi connection.
The start password ("WLAN KEY") can be found on
the sticker on the front of these operating
instructions.
Open the browser on your computer or
smartphone and enter http://mercedes.charger
or 192.168.5.1 in the address line.
The "Flexible Charging System Pro" page will open.
To access the page more quickly in the future, save the
above address as a favourite in your smartphone or
computer browser.
