Fit the hood before you connect the power tool
to the dust extraction system.
Attach the Dust Hood 21 to the power tool so
that the bracket locks into place on the Shock
Protection Guard 10.
Remove the Dust Hood 21 when working with-
out a dust extraction system, blade installation/
removal, and for miter/bevel cuts. To do this,
pull the hood forwards off the Shock Protection
Guard 10.
Connecting The Dust Extraction
(Fig. 9)
Fit the Extraction Outlet 22 in the recesses of
the Footplate 6. Connect a dust extraction hose
(not included) to the Extraction Outlet 22.
Switch off the chip blower when you have con-
nected the dust extraction system.
