The user interface is used as follows:
— As the power tool status indicator
— For switching the worklight on and off
— For preselecting/controlling the stroke rate
— For controlling Adaptive Speed Control at
stroke rate level 6 (GST18V-60BC, with fac-
tory setting)
— For sending warnings in the app (temperature
dependent overload protection, drop control)
Status Indicator LED
The Status Indicator LED 2c bar at the top of the
User Interface 2 illuminates in various colors to
help the user identify the status of the tool.
Please refer to "Status Indicators" chart below.
LED Worklight
To switch the Worklight 13 on or off, press the
Worklight Button 2e until the required status is
displayed on the Worklight Indicator 2d.

Do not look directly into the worklight; it can
blind you.
Preselect the Stroke Rate
You can preselect the stroke rate and change it
during operation using the Stroke Rate Prese-
lection Button 2g. Press the button for chang-
ing the stroke rate preselection as many times
as needed for the required stroke rate level to
be displayed in the Stroke Rate Level Indicator
2f. The last set stroke rate level is saved when
switching off the power tool.

Remove the saw blade and let the power tool run
at the maximum stroke rate for around 3 minutes
to cool down.
Charge the battery.
Leave the power tool to cool down.
