1.4 Warnings in this document
Warnings warn about dangers that can occur
when handling the power tool. They come in
four danger levels that can be distinguished
by the signal word:
Signal word Meaning
DANGER
Indicates a danger with high
risk, which can cause death
or severe injuries if it is not
avoided.
WARNING
Indicates a danger with
medium risk, which can
cause severe injuries if it is
not avoided.
CAUTON
Indicates a danger with low
risk, which can cause minor
or moderate injuries if it is
not avoided.
ATTENTION Indicates a danger that can
cause property damage.
1.5 Proper use
TRUMPF slitting shears are a hand-guided
power tool for the following applications:
– Cutting off pipes and profiles on ceilings
and walls flush
– Trimming of corrugated and trapezoidal
sheet steel
– Slitting and trimming of plate-shaped
workpieces made of steel, aluminum,
plastic, etc.
