Use of cutting blades
Two types of cutting blades can be used for cutting
work, grass cutting blade and brush knife. Never use
grass cutters to cut grass.
Grass Cutting blade:
▪ A grass cutting blade is used to cut all kinds of tall
herbs;
▪ The grass is cut with a swing motion to the side (like
a scythe), where the movement from right to left is
the cutting phase and the movement from left to
right the return course. Avoid previously cut material
during return movement.
▪ If the blade is tilted to the left when rubbing, the
grass accumulates in a line, which makes it easier to
catch.
▪ Let the support base touch the floor lightly. It is used
to protect the blade from touching the floor;
Brush knife:
▪ A brush cutter is used to cut/prune bush, shrub or
wild vegetation with maximum diameter of 12mm;
▪ When you cut the bush or shrubs, place the brush
knife very close to the ground (as if cutting with a
scythe) and cut through the base of the bush or
shrubs;
▪ To cut wild vegetation, the pruning/grinding must be
performed from up to bottom in layers, keeping the
blade at a level lower than the user's waist. However,
when bigger the distance between the blade and the
ground, bigger the risk of particles projection. For this
reason, the user shall have extra attention when
performing this way;
▪ Always operate in full speed to prevent the
accumulation of cut material on the blade head;
▪ Avoid contact of the blade with stationary objects
(rocks, stones, tree trunks). Otherwise, the device
may be thrown abruptly in the opposite direction to
the rotation of the blade. This is the blade rotation
reversal of the blade. Blade rotation reversal can be
violent and cause the loss of control;
The blade rotation reversal of the blade may occur
without notice. The probability of occurrence is greater
in work areas where it is difficult to see the material to
be cut.

The blade rotation reversal of the blade can also
occur if you try to cut small trees, shrubs or bush
with a diameter greater than the size recommended by
the manufacturer.
Whenever the blade is not in use or during transport,
install the blade's protection.
Using the cutting head nylon line
The cutting head with nylon line is used to cut herbs and
fine grass.
Make sure that the nylon line is still firm and evenly
rolled-up in the reel; otherwise, the device will produce
harmful vibrations.
Only use cutting heads and nylon lines that have the
characteristics and dimensions recommended by the
manufacturer.
Never use wires or ropes instead of nylon.
Otherwise, accidents and injuries may occur.
The length of the nylon line is also important. A longer
line requires more engine power than a shorter line of
the same diameter.
Make sure that the cutting blade fixed in the cutting
accessories protection is still intact is sharpened. The
blade is used to cut the nylon line to maintain the
correct length.
When the nylon line is worn out or breaks:
1. Place the cutting head on the floor and press the
spring into the interior to allow the nylon line to slide
out;
2. The length of the cutting line is defined by the
maximum length allowed for the cutting blade fixed in
the protection of cutting accessories.
