2 – SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•
The unit shall be used for the purposes described in par. "Product Description" only. Other uses
could cause injuries and/or damages .
•
When the unit is not used, switch off the ON/OFF selector (position 0) (4)
•
Keep the unit in a dry place
•
Never open the battery box. The unit has been designed in order not to need any maintenance
operations. In case of problems, please carry the unit to a Campagnola Authorised Service Point

2.2 Use

• The unit shall be strictly used for the purposes described in par. 'Product Description'. Other uses could cause
injuries and/or damages.
• Carry out a complete recharging cycle before using the battery unit (2) for the first time in the working season.
• Before re-charging the batteries (1), switch the ON-OFF selector (8) (position 0) off and put the shear into its
holster (39) with closed blades (17).
• Do not leave the unit in the rain. Store it in a dry place.
• Do not leave the battery unit (12) under the sun rays. Do not expose it to microwaves sources. It shall not be
subject to hits or high pressure. Do not put it into the water or keep it in a humid place. Keep it away from heat
sources (>60°C) and flammable stuff.
• Do not use a battery-charger which is different from the one supplied by Campagnola S.r.l., since it could cause
serious damages to the tool and injuries to the operator. In case of doubt, check if the battery-charger model is
one of those listed in par. 3.6.
• Do not open the battery unit (2) or the corresponding battery-charger. In case of problems, do not use the
component and immediately carry the unit to a Campagnola Authorised Service Point for a reparation or a
replacement.
• Do not remove the 'Garanzia/Warranty' label for any reason, otherwise the warranty becomes void.
• It is recommended that the same operator does not use the unit for a long time per day. Two operators should
alternate hour by hour. A continuous use can make the operator very tired.

2.3 Maintenance

• The reparation operations shall be carried out by qualified personnel of a Campagnola Authorised
Service Point.
• During the reparation and maintenance operations the bystanders shall be kept away from the unit.

3 - SPECIFICATIONS

3.1 Product identification

The unit identification details are shown in the CE compliance certificate in this manual and on the battery back .

3.2 Product description

Energy Day unit has been designed in order to power-supply some Campagnola electro-mechanical tools. The
tool compatibility with the battery has to be checked in the power-supply details inside the corresponding
manuals.
The unit is based on a battery set (2), a back-pack (3) and a connecting cable (1).
The power-supply unit is fitted with batteries with Lithium cells (2). An electronic card in the battery checks the
charging and discharging steps to improve performance and quality.
The battery is inside a box (picture A) and is hooked to a backpack (3) which is fitted with braces and worn by the
operator.
IMPORTANT!
The best performance as for the battery autonomy is reached after the first 20 working hours.
