6- MAINTENANCE
6.1 Routine maintenance
WARNING!
Before any routine maintenance operations, disconnect the battery set by means of the switch (4)
(position 0).
All maintenance operations which are not describe in this manual shall only be carried out by Authorized
Service Points.
6.1.1 Storing the unit and maintaining its battery set
• Before storing the unit for a prolonged period:
• Charge the battery set (2) up.
• Every 120 days repeat a complete battery (2) charge cycle.
• Store the unit in a dry place inside its case. Do not leave it under the rain..
WARNING!
If a battery recharge cycle is not carried out every 120 days, the battery set (2) gets definitely damaged
(see par. 6.1.1)
6.2 Special maintenance
WARNING!
Any special maintenance operation shall only be carried out by a CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorized Service
Point.
7- DISMANTLING AND DISPOSING OF THE COMPONENTS
7.1 General
At the end of its working life, the tool has to be dismantled.
The tool components shall be divided in order to dispose of them according to the materials they are made of
(batteries, metal, plastic, etc) and in compliance with the regulations of the country where the tool was used.
7.2 Dead batteries disposal
The dead and/or damaged batteries disposal and handling have to be carried out according to the Directive
91/157/CE or the corresponding regulations of the country where the batteries were used.
WARNING!
The dead batteries have to be given to the Authorised Service Point where they were bought, in order to
be then recycled or disposed of according to the regulations of the country. Above all, the dead or
damaged charge accumulators can neither be thrown away among the urban rubbish, nor opened, nor
put in contact with fire or water.
