Installation
Appliance preparation
■ Before installation, the enclosed hob seal must
be stuck on without any gaps.
■ The hob seal prevents the penetration of liquids
between the edge of the hob and the worktop
into the hob underneath.
■ When installing the hob into an uneven
worktop, e.g. with ceramic or similar covering
(tiles etc.), a plastic sealing material (putty) may
be used instead of the hob seal.
Due to the thickness of the glass ceramic of
the induction wok of 6mm, the mounting rail
of the adjacent cooktop extractor hood must
be removed.
It can only be removed at the left side of the
cooktop extractor hood. Please make sure
not to damage any glass and stainless steel
surfaces during this work step.
