Activate the towbar.
Perform controlled troubleshooting.
- Activate the „software version management (SVM)" function. In this menu, select function
No. 3 - so-called "Conversion and retrofitting" - see Fig. 16.
- Enter the 5-digit action code (see the "ETKA" spare part catalogue) a confirm it.
- Complete the diagnostics as usual.
- Check that the parking camera and rear parking sensors work correctly (if fitted).
Perform the functional test of the towbar using a trailer or tester. If
using a tester, we recommend using a tester that simulates the actual
electrical load, which is equivalent to connecting an actual trailer.
