WARNING! Adequate ventilation must be ensured
Make sure that the hob is well ventilated and that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. To avoid
accidental contact with the underside of the hotplate being overheated, or receiving an unexpected
electric shock during work, it is necessary to place a wooden insulator, fixed with screws, at a minimum
distance of 50 mm from the underside of the hotplate. Observe the following requirements.

Note: There are ventilation holes around the outside of the hob. You MUST ensure that these holes are
not blocked by the hob when the hob is fitted.
Never seal the plate to the recess with silicone.
Sealing the hob with silicone is not recommended, as if
the hob has to be removed, it will be very difficult to
remove it from the worktop and may even break the
glass.
Infiniton is not responsible for any damage caused by
applying silicone, which would void the warranty.
