Adhere the frame to the opening you have made in the rear
bumper

• Before adhering the frame and the red aerial sensor for the virtual pedal (if fitted), clean and
degrease the inside of the bumper (see pre-punched marking) with Terostat 8550 cleaning
agent. Leave to dry for 10 minutes.
Please note: The surface of the bumper where the frame and sensor are to be
adhered must be completely free from grease, paint residues and any other dirt.

• Apply the activator (Y) to the cleaned surface of the rear bumper, to the entire area around
the opening that you have made (to a width of approx. 10 mm) as well as to the surface where
the clips and the red aerial sensor for the virtual pedal (if fitted) will be adhered. Leave to dry
for approximately 10 minutes.

• Clean and degrease the surface on the underside of the frame (E) with Terostat 8550 cleaning
agent. Leave to dry for 10 minutes.
Please note: The surface of the frame where it is to be adhered must be
completely free from grease and any other dirt.
• Apply activator (Y) to the cleaned surface of the frame. Leave to dry for approximately 10
minutes.

• Cut the double-sided adhesive tape (X) into strips of the appropriate length to match the
dimensions of the frame, and adhere them as shown in the figure.
• Carefully press on the adhered strips along the entire surface of the frame.

erial for the virtual pedal (if fitted)
Remove the red sensor from the aerial virtual pedal (T) included in the set.
Disconnect the control unit plug connection for the aerial for the virtual pedal (T). Carefully
remove the wires for the red sensor from the connector.
• In the connector for the sensors for the virtual pedal aerial (T) that is fitted to the bumper,
insert the wires for the red sensor for the virtual pedal aerial included in the set into the
connection points from which the wires have been removed. Connect the disconnected
connector.
• Use clips to roughly position the red aerial sensor for the virtual pedal (T) in the area where it
is to be adhered.
• Remove the protective sheet from the pieces of adhesive tape on the aerial sensor for the
virtual pedal and from the clips, and adhere each of the components in the appropriate place
on the rear bumper (following the pre-punched markings).
Please note: Ensure that the sensor is positioned correctly. The position of the
sensors affects whether the virtual pedal works correctly.
• Carefully press down on the adhered aerial sensor and the clips across their entire surface.
