MALFUNCTION / MAINTENANCE
WARNING
If an anomaly (such as a smell of fire) occurs, stop operation
immediately and disconnect the hood from the power supply!
Continued operation under such conditions may result in
malfunction, property damage, electric shock, or fire.
Disturbances:
In case of error messages, first disconnect the hood from the
mains supply and switch it on again after 10 seconds.
Please contact our customer service immediately if:
the cooker hood makes undefinable noises, and
you cannot detect any defects after checking the hood;
You notice it, e.g. by hearing strange noises,
that the motor is faulty or defective;
the LED lighting is defective.
the circuit is not working properly.
the electrical supply line has chafe marks or kinks.
the electrical supply line becomes unusually hot.
Water escapes from the unit.
you notice that the appliance is live when you touch the surface.
The hood may be opened by one of the aforementioned
cases can no longer be operated!
Do not attempt to repair the unit by yourself !

Please be sure to indicate the type of your cooker hood and its O.C. number. You will
find this information on the nameplate. This is located in the area of the filters inside
the hood. In case of other problems around your GUTMANN hood, you can send an
